Once we have received your order, we will prepare it carefully for shipping via common carrier.

Shipments to the following states attract a shipping charge: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Montana. Free shipping is only applicable to orders accepted by customers. Orders refused or returned for reasons besides shipping damage are subject to the return policies that you can view here.

The bulky nature of ductwork materials means that additional shipping charges will be applicable. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska attract additional shipping fees. AC Online reserves the right not to ship particular items by themselves since they are fragile, including but not limited to copper tubing, coils, and others. However, such fragile items can be shipped either with the HVAC system or system components such as a condensing unit or furnace.

The order will be delivered to your office or home by a common freight carrier. The trucks are heavy and large, which means that you can’t drive them on residential driveways. It is the responsibility of the driver to deliver the freight to the freight truck’s tailgate. If you are unable to or don’t have somebody to help with the unloading, you can request for a lift gate truck for an extra fee to place the freight on the ground behind the freight truck. Once the freight has been offloaded from the truck, it is your responsibility to move it to its final destination.

Out of stock items or those requiring special orders typically take a while longer.

All the shipped orders are fully insured since occasion damage can occur. Equipment orders shipped via common carrier are F.O.B. shipping point Orlando, Florida or the original shipping point as AC Online determines. You should inspect your equipment carefully at the time of delivery while the driver is present since the carriers cannot accept shortage or damage claims if the delivery receipt does not indicate that a shortage or damage exists.

Once the order leaves our shipping dock, it is officially the consignee’s responsibility with all obligations attached. AC Online will in no event be held responsible for damage incurred after the order leaves our facility. We help with the claims process for any damage noted at the time of the delivery as long as the customer provides a copy of the noted freight bill bearing the delivery driver’s signature to AC Online.

If severe damage is noted at the time of delivery, AC Online will file a claim with the carrier at its sole discretion for the cost of replacing the damaged item or for the value of the damage. All repair value determinations by AC Online will be considered final unless we receive extra information that the customer had not previously supplied.

Damage not noted by the consignee at delivery shall not affect any prior agreements between AC Online and the customer in any way, irrespective of value. If damage is not noted at the time of delivery, whether concealed or otherwise, the sole responsibility of AC Online will be to help the customer obtain a claim form that should be filed with the carrier.

If you do receive your order with apparent damage, you should inspect it immediately to determine whether it is cosmetic or severe enough that it may affect system performance. In case the damage is only cosmetic, you are free to accept the delivery and we shall provide an estimate for repairing the damage as well as a carrier claim form to help with reimbursement. In case of severe damage, just refuse the damaged portion and we will ship a replacement immediately at no cost to you.

Damage claims must be submitted in written form to AC Online or the delivery carrier within 10 days from the delivery date for reimbursement purposes. Claims initiated later than 10 days after the delivery date will not be assisted or considered by AC Online

Orders shipped outside Florida are non-taxable, but Florida residents should add 7 percent sales tax.

If the Purchaser procures the services of a lawyer, he or she will be responsible for settling all the reasonable lawyer fees and costs the Contractor incurs. Orange County, Florida is the point of venue for litigation purposes.
